This podcast is a treasure trove of profound concepts and nuggets of wisdom that every person who has ever questioned mainstream culture should listen to. It’s about so much more than parenting or large families. I look forward to every new episode, always find myself nodding along, and come away with a new idea that has never occurred to me before but makes so much sense. I absolutely love Jason and Maryn’s relaxed nature and approach to life. I hope they make many more hundreds of episodes (at least!) because the world needs to hear what they have to say.

I just listened to their manifestation episode today, and literally in this same day an opportunity to house sit in Hawaii materialized with out any effort for the exact time I was wishing to go but couldn’t afford…while talking to the people we’d house sit for they said: you know what’s funny? This time we didn’t worry about who we were going to find to house sit and you just appeared and it felt effortless. I literally got chills because that’s exactly the phrase they used in this episode. Incredible gift to make this podcast, thank you for your wisdom 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Maryn and Jason delve into the course of their own and their family’s evolution over the years, detailing how the lessons they’ve learned along the way have affected the way choose to raise their children and navigate family life. There is so much wisdom shared between the two of them, and it’s so much fun to hear about their unique journey. The style of the podcast is earnest, conversational, and introspective

This episode exposes my’ truth’ that I never could see in over 50 years of my existence. I don’t remember any Christmas that didn’t leave me feeling unfulfilled. I imagined that the western standards of this season celebration was a pie in the sky situation as we saw on television. No white Santa, gifts etc.. we blamed our parents for not copying the western countries. Even blamed God for the lack of snow in Uganda just to be at par.!!!! The expectations consistently left us dreading every other coming season. Now. It’s clear that this subtle superimposed culture has always been made up and perpetuated by adults who believed in its truth,passed onto generations and kept alive. Other tradition holidays are fun because no obligations apart from showing up in village gatherings. Music, dance, feasting local foods . No fancy clothes. Just people having fun African style. Thanks Jason family for sharing researched and experienced life that at least resonates with me. I wish I had known this much earlier

In the past I have been a self help addict listening to podcasts on 3x speed up to 8hrs a day and burned myself out. My mind was blown and I couldn’t really pull together a coherent thought of my own. After a 2 year break my wife told me about this podcast and I decided to listen to one episode. This is the message I want to be exposed to and Jason and Maryn are living a life that I want to emulate. I am a father of 5 (and counting) and to hear from a couple of people that are committed to pressing into the unknown, despite the lack of evidence around them in the mainstream world that it will work, in search of a different way than the one we’ve been sold is refreshing and inspiring! Thank you Jason and Maryn for the work you are both doing and for taking the time to share it through this podcast with the world! I for one, am better off because of it!!

I have been a long time fan of Maryn via Indie Birth. Her wisdom changed the trajectory of my life before I even had my first baby and for that I am so grateful. This most recent podcast has blown me away with how insightful and affirming it has been. Hearing you two speak is very affirming of the path myself and my own family have been on over the last 8 years. Love hearing from the two of you together and am always left feeling uplifted.
